I will be taking a Sacred Journey next year, from my home in Alabama to all points west as far as I can possibly go. I am not going in search of a new home, but rather in search of something in myself that I lost a very long time ago.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I have very much enjoyed the read.

Thank you Cher. All you need for your journey is this line from Whitman: “Henceforth, I ask not good fortune. I myself am good fortune.” And you are.

    Cher,
I was delighted to discover your blog. Your writing is delightful and soul satisfying. I use The Hero’s Journey in my work as a spiritual weight loss coach.
It was quite helpful in my own journey and recovery from binge eating disorder, bulimia, and cfs/fibromyalgia. Most people who chronically struggle with food and weight have become stuck in the underworld. I teach people to reconnect with their inner light so they can truly shine. I am in the business of shining stars! We all need to find the joy in the journey. This is what life is all about.

    Sincerely,
    Catherine L. Taylor
